Modern Slavery Statement
Our commitment: This Modern Slavery Statement sets out the actions we take to prevent slavery, forced labour and human trafficking across our operations and supply chain. We declare a clear zero-tolerance policy toward any form of modern slavery or exploitation. Our anti-slavery statement reflects a commitment to respect human rights and to integrate robust safeguards into procurement, employment and partner relationships.
We recognise that a comprehensive modern slavery and human trafficking statement must be driven by leadership and embedded throughout organisational processes. Our Board and senior management are accountable for implementing and resourcing this modern slavery policy, ensuring that responsibilities are clear and that progress is reported within governance cycles. Transparency and continuous improvement are core to our approach.
Policy scope and principles
This anti-slavery policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers and third parties working for or on behalf of the organisation. We expect suppliers to adhere to equivalent standards and to cooperate with our efforts to identify and remediate any instances of slavery or trafficking. We will not tolerate the use of forced labour, debt bondage, child labour, involuntary servitude or abusive working conditions.We operate a risk-based due diligence framework for our supply chain and operations. As part of our procurement and vendor management, we conduct supplier risk assessments, site visits and contractual clauses that require compliance with our modern slavery policy. Where risks are identified we deploy mitigation measures and, where necessary, require corrective action plans and follow-up audits to ensure remediation is completed.
Supplier audits and monitoring
We carry out regular audits of suppliers and high-risk sites. Audits may include document reviews, worker interviews and on-site inspections conducted by internal teams or independent third-party auditors. Key audit elements include:- Verification of employment records and pay practices;
- Assessment of recruitment practices and third-party labour providers;
- Review of working hours, living conditions and the presence of recruitment fees;
- Evidence of worker grievance mechanisms and freedom of movement.
We maintain multiple reporting channels to enable safe, confidential and, where requested, anonymous reporting of concerns. These reporting channels are available to employees, suppliers and other stakeholders and include internal hotlines, secure online reporting tools and designated compliance contacts. Reports are triaged and investigated, and we keep complainants informed of outcomes where appropriate.
Reporting and remediation: When allegations arise we act promptly to protect affected individuals, preserve evidence and engage independent experts as needed. Remediation may include medical and legal support for victims, changes to supplier arrangements, contractual sanctions and termination where suppliers fail to remedy issues. We document all investigations, corrective actions and monitoring steps to ensure accountability.
Continuous improvement and review — We review this statement and our processes at least annually to reflect evolving risks, legislative changes and lessons learned from investigations and audits. The annual review includes a formal evaluation of supplier performance, incident trends and the effectiveness of our training and awareness programmes. Training on modern slavery and human trafficking is mandatory for relevant employees, procurement teams and key suppliers.
Key commitments: We commit to the following practical measures to prevent modern slavery across our value chain:
- Zero-tolerance policy toward modern slavery, embedded in contracts and supplier codes of conduct;
- Risk-based supplier audits, monitoring and independent verification;
- Multiple secure reporting channels and robust investigation procedures;
- Remediation processes to support victims and correct non-compliance;
- Annual review of the modern slavery and human trafficking statement and continuous improvement of policies and training.
We believe that a credible anti-slavery statement requires active governance, sustained resourcing and collaboration with suppliers, civil society and industry peers. Through our ongoing efforts to strengthen due diligence, supplier engagement and remediation, we seek to reduce the risk of exploitation and to ensure respectful, safe and lawful working conditions within our operations and across the supply chain.
